Startup Brand Identity
Client: Daughters Market
Skills: Brand collateral and logo development
Founded in 2019, Daughters Market’s empowers those identified as female in growing their businesses by creating a curated marketplace for customers seeking items that combine style and quality.
When their Founder, Tess Milio, approached me in early 2019, we set out to develop a brand that speaks to a variety of woman-identified people. We focused on defining Daughters in our own terms. How would trans people, a key constituency she hoped to reach out to, feel about being a ‘daughter?’
We knew we would have to address this discrepancy in the way we talked about Daughters Market.
Television Typography
Class: Print & Publication Design
Skills: Typography, Illustration, Publication Layout, Print Production
This class focused on working in layout design and print processes. We were tasked with creating a booklet about any topic we’d like. While most focused on a personal portfolio, I chose to go a different route, creating a booklet about television’s use of typography throughout the last seven decades.

Small Business Website Design
Client: Greenlight Creative
Skills: Visual Design, UX/UI Design
Greenlight Creative is a Portland based event lighting company that works with a broad audience. President and Creative Director Dwayne Thomas approached me in 2018 to redesign his Wordpress website, originally designed in 2008.
It was clunky by today’s standards and failed to showcase the amazing photography he had from the thousands of events Greenlight had worked over the years. The best way to display the photography became central to how we approached the redesign.

Nonprofit Report Layout
Client: PHAME
Skills: Report Layout, Infographics
PHAME, a nonprofit art school for adults experiencing developmental disabilities, had been on the hunt for a new building to host their classes. As a teacher at PHAME, I was uniquely positioned to layout a Site Report covering the basic needs of the organization in a new building.
The data in the report is based on surveys from students, teachers, staff, friends, and family. It was designed to show potential funders of a new space. To break up content and develop infographics, I used a brick pattern as a nod to the potential building.
